Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of djlanewv.com, operated by DJ Lane Studio in Toronto, Canada. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

Use of the site

You may use this site to learn about DJ lessons, rehearsal studio rental, audio recording, and sound design, and to send enquiries or booking requests. Browsing service pages, reading about music classes, and contacting the studio are all welcome uses.

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for unlawful purposes. That includes scraping pages at volume, submitting false or automated enquiries, and interfering with the parts of the site that handle forms or studio information. If a request you send through the site is inaccurate, the studio may not be able to follow up.

What this page covers

Enquiries and bookings

Information on this site is provided for general reference. Course listings, studio availability, and service descriptions give you a picture of what the studio offers for DJ lessons, audio mixing, and sound recording, but they are not a live schedule.

Submitting an enquiry does not create a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when the studio confirms a time and provides confirmation details. Until you receive that confirmation, treat the session as a request rather than a held slot.

How a request turns into a booking

  1. You send an enquiry

Through the contact page, by email, or by phone, with the service you are interested in and the times that suit you.

  2. The studio replies

You get an answer about whether the requested time and service are available, and any details you need to decide.

  3. You confirm

Once you agree to the confirmed time, the studio sends confirmation details and the booking stands.

  4. Details may still change

If a schedule shifts, the studio will contact you directly. Confirmed booking information from the studio takes precedence over general site content.

Course and rental pages describe what the studio offers; the confirmed details from the studio are what count.

Content and intellectual property

Text, images, and other content on this site belong to DJ Lane Studio or are used with permission. You may not reproduce or redistribute site content without written consent.

Accuracy of information

We aim to keep service descriptions, schedules, and availability information accurate, but details may change. Confirmed booking information provided directly by the studio takes precedence over general site content.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. DJ Lane Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or reliance on its content, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any dispute arising from use of this site is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, and the version live here is the one that applies to your use of the site.

Questions about these terms

Most questions about lessons, rentals, music production, and sound recording are answered on the service and schedule pages. If something here is unclear, or you need the studio to confirm a detail before you book, get in touch and the studio will answer directly.

For details about how the studio handles personal information, read the Privacy Policy, which sits alongside these terms.

Does sending an enquiry hold my slot?

No. An enquiry tells the studio what you are looking for. A time is only held once the studio confirms it and sends you the booking details.

What if a course page and my confirmation disagree?

The confirmation from the studio wins. Site pages are a general reference and can lag behind schedule changes.

Can I reuse the studio's photos or course text?

Not without written consent. Content on the site belongs to the studio or is used with permission, so ask first if you want to reproduce it.

How will I know if these terms change?

The current version is always the one published on this page. Check back before relying on a clause if it matters to you.

Ready to talk through a session?

Tell the studio what you want to work on, whether that is a first DJ lesson, rehearsal time, or a recording and audio mixing session, and you will get a straight answer about availability.
